November 2009
A raided tomb, magic spells, and a mysterious mummified head—these are just a few of the fascinating “secrets” you can explore in “The Secrets of Tomb 10A: Egypt 2000 BC,” now on view in the Gund Gallery. Remember that this exhibition is now included with general admission, with no additional fees or special tickets. And members may purchase same-day guest tickets for only $5.
While you’re at the Museum, I invite you to attend a lecture or film, participate in a free gallery talk or watch an artist demonstration, and see some of the other exhibitions opening this month, including a trio from the Prints, Drawings, and Photographs collection opening on November 21: “Café and Cabaret: Toulouse-Lautrec’s Paris,” “Harry Callahan: American Photographer,” and “Albrecht Dürer: Virtuoso Printmaker.” There’s always something new to discover at the MFA!
Sincerely, |
