Description: Large cotton wrapper made of trade cloth, dyed with indigo and patterned with stitch resist. twisted fringe at two ends. Arabic inscription.

Provenance/Ownership History: 2006, purchased in Ndiasane, Senegal and exported to Joss Graham Oriental Textiles, London; 2008, exported to the USA; purchased by the MFA (October 22, 2008).
