Woman's belt

Description: A wide flat band of metal shaped into an oval to be worn around the waist is decorated in the front by a buckle and a line of seven ball bearings, each with a gold tone center, that suggest the holes of a belt, but are used to hold the buckle making the belt adjustable.

Provenance/Ownership History: 1971, purchased by Karen Rotenberg, Boston, in Paris; gift of Rotenberg and her husband Michael to the MFA (Accession date: April 14, 2010)
