Description: This pendant, featuring a green paste Buddha resembling carved jade, was converted from a jabot. The Buddha, wearing a single rose-cut diamond necklace, has an openwork halo and foliate base decorated with small rose-cut diamonds. The pinstem, pendant loop, and chain were later additions.

Provenance/Ownership History: Early 20th-century, with donor's mother; by descent to present owner; gift to the MFA (Accession date: September 16, 2009)
