Description: This diamond brooch is in the shape of a crossed loop formed by a line of calibre diamonds each of which ends in a large round diamond. The 72 old European and single-cut diamonds, which weigh approximately 3 carats, are set in platinum and backed by gold.

Provenance/Ownership History: September 19, 2006, purchased at Skinner Auctioneers (lot 653) in Boston; gift to the MFA (Accession date: September 16, 2009).
