Description: Large splotches of glaze with many areas of stoneware left unglazed. Glaze did not adhere to the jar. Rim repair: 2 inches long, 1 inch deep.

Provenance/Ownership History: Early history unknown. 1987, sold by Jim Williams, Savannah, GA, to Tony L. Shank, Marion, S.C.; 1997, sold by Shank to John Axelrod, Boston; 2011, sold by Axelrod to the MFA.
