Description: Each with circular flaming-finial mounted tops above a circular waisted body with winged masks to each side and chimerical beasts issuing arched handles, above a waisted brass socle, on a concave-side canted triangular base, with reeded angles, each side mounted with masks, on scrolled and palmette paw feet.

Provenance/Ownership History: February 9, 1993, anonymous sale, Phillips, London, lot 132, probably to H. Blairman and Sons, London. Acquired on the London art market by Horace Wood Brock, New York; 2010, gift of Horace Wood Brock to the MFA. (Accession Date: January 26, 2011)
