Description: Printed and colored on each side with a view of an American ship above military trophies and the inscription "FRANKLIN" or "INDEPENDENCE," printed beneath the spout with an adaptation of the Great Seal of the United States and an Irish harp above the inscription "MARY SINNET."

Provenance/Ownership History: Peabody Essex Museum, Salem, MA; exchanged by the Peabody Essex Museum with S. Robert Teitelman (b. 1917 - d. 2008), Haverford, PA; August 22, 2010, posthumous Teitelman sale, Northeast Auctions, Portsmouth, NH, lot 766, to Timothy Phillips, Cambridge, MA; 2011, gift of Timothy Phillips to the MFA.
