Description: Quilt made out of fifty-six 9x12inch squares of men's suiting samples (herringbones, pin stripes, tweeds in colors ranging from brown, green, blacks, and navy blues.) Each square whipstitched at edges in blue silk thread, then joined to other squares with decorative topstitching in polychrome thread. Wool top loosely tied (not quilted) to a salmon pink satin backing.
