Description: Helmet shaped cap on basketry support. Attached dreadlock-like extensions made of fiber and human hair. Appliqued on the front with red wool trade cloth.

Provenance/Ownership History: Around 2005, sold by Peter Boyd, Seattle, to a private collector; 2011, consigned by this private collector to Andres Moraga Textile Art, Berkeley, CA; 2011, sold by Andres Moraga Textile Art to the MFA. (Accession date: September 21, 2011)
