Description: Woman's draped sleeveless gown made of purple and pink silk jersey. Dress is cut so that pink circle is set within purple half circle, and closed by belt drawn through side slit.

Provenance/Ownership History: Said to have been purchased from a member of the Rothschild family, Paris, by Sarah Steinmertz; 2011, sold by Sarah Steinmertz to Marilyn Glass, Los Angeles; 2011, sold by Marilyn Glass to the MFA. (Accession date: December 21, 2011)
