Description: Beige banner with blue and red striped band around the border. Brightly colored cloth patches representing humans and animals (birds, dogs, fish, etc) are stiched onto banner. Two red fabric loops on top corners of banner for hanging.

Provenance/Ownership History: 1968, purchased in Abomey, Benin, by Eli and Carolyn Newberger; 2011, gift of the Newbergers to the MFA (Accession date: December 30, 2011)
