Description: Large strip woven blanket. Ivory ground of imported cotton yarn patterned with stripes and geometric designs in red, blue and gold. Strips sewn together by machine.

Provenance/Ownership History: By 1969, purchased in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, by Eli and Carolyn Newberger; 2011, gift of the Newbergers to the MFA (Accession date: December 30, 2011)
