Description: The vase of elongated ovoid form decorated with carved periwinkle and pink irises rising from pale green leaves and stems against a creamy white "iris glaze" background.

Provenance/Ownership History: 1900 or after, retailed by Marshall Field & Company, Chicago, Illinois; by 2012, owned by Lillian Nassau LLC (gallery) New York, New York; 2012, sold by Nassau to the MFA. (Accession Date: June 27, 2012)
