The MFA Invites You
The 2009–2010 Shapiro Celebrity Lecture Series features Eric Ripert, the well-known French chef and TV star, on September 30; renowned artist Robert Irwin on October 14 and 15; former editor of both Vanity Fair and The New Yorker, Tina Brown on November 11; Thelma Golden, director and Chief Curator of the Studio Museum in Harlem on February 3 and 4; John Currin, acclaimed and widely exhibited painter on March 10; and Billy Collins, former Poet Laureate, on April 14 and 15. Be sure to purchase tickets early—each series has been a sold-out success.

Video Broadcast Viewing
Most first night lectures are broadcast by video to Riley Seminar Room; free tickets for these viewings are available on the evening of the program on a first-come, first-served basis.
