Enjoy an array of art-making activities, performances, and tours that explore powerful figures throughout the Museum. Make a golden Buddha, create a power figure in fabric inspired by African art, sketch portraits of European royalty, and search for dragons in the Asian galleries. Discover an ancient painting technique depicting warriors and create your own masterpiece. While you’re here, participate in a special interactive Indian dance performance and art-making demonstration by local group Khel Mel. Listen to stories about America’s great leaders, and join a fun-filled Family Gallery Tour or a Teen Gallery Talk to explore powerful figures from the ancient world.
