Named in honor of Martha and Maxim Karolik, our distinguished benefactors of decorative arts, paintings, works on paper, and folk art, the Karolik Society provides a chance for members to connect with others who are united by their passion for American art. Members have access to unique travel opportunities, including visits to important American art fairs, museums, and private collections, as well as exclusive behind-the-scenes tours and programs led by curators and other experts in the field.
In addition to supporting the Karolik Society, membership contributions will be used towards new acquisitions and costs related to conserving, restoring, or displaying works of art.
The Karolik Society offers special events, trips, and behind-the-scenes visits that provide exceptional insight into American art and the Art of the Americas department at the Museum.
Please note that general Museum membership (at any level) is a prerequisite for joining the Karolik Society.
For more information, please e-mail Friends-KarolikSociety@mfa.org or call 617-369-3402.
