A bodice of tan silk taffeta with “V” neck, open down center front, fastened with one hook center front, weighted tabs at front lower edge, very short sleeves with open shoulder seam, and weights in outer points of shoulders, embroidered with tan silk cord, in elaborate symmetrical linear motifs, lined with white satin; Made by a French dressmaker in Kansas City; worn by donor’s mother, Mrs. J. Chalmers Hall.
