October 4, 1934, purchased by the MFA for £420, probably from Colnaghi & Co, London (dealer). (Accession Date: October 4, 1934)

Note: This impression may be the one listed by Lehrs as from the Bérard Collection, Paris (by 1880), and then from 1891 in the collection of Edmond Foulc (b. 1826 - d. 1916), Paris, but no documentary evidence has been found to substantiate this.
