DescriptionA lady's dress cap with black lace foundation trimmed elaborately with pleated purple satin ribbon, white machine made lace, narrow purple velvet ribbon loops and purple velvet petals, white silk ribbon ties; belonged to Mrs. Anna Russel Rawson; came in a small band box, presumably the original, labelled, "Richmond's N.Y. Ladies Dress Caps".
