A skirt of sheer white cotton, front plain in upper half slightly flaring to hemline, lower half a deep gathered flounce with five deep tucks, back full extending to form long train, with full gathered ruffle two thirds of the length of the skirt finished with five deep tucks like skirt front, tapes in casing at waist, one linen tape on each side to be tied in back for bustle.
