2枚目は安部貞任<8>市川団十郎、3枚目は八幡太郎義家<12>市村羽左衛門だが、該当する上演なし。名主印「衣笠」「浜」の組合せは嘉永元年10月まで。<8>市川団十郎と<1>坂東しうかが市村座で同座するのは嘉永元年度と嘉永4年度。

[1] Much of Bigelow's collection of Asian art was formed during his residence in Japan between 1882 and 1889, although he also made acquisitions in Europe and the United States. Bigelow deposited many of these objects at the MFA in 1890 before donating them to the Museum's collection at later dates.
