Description三代目岩井粂三郎は弘化4年11月中村座で白縫姫を勤めているが、この時初代松本錦升は同座せず。また名主の福?が掛名主になるのは嘉永2年から。したがって、嘉永2年度中村座で粂三郎と錦升が同座していた頃の予定稿で、錦升が亡くなる同年11月3日以前のものと思われる。

NOTES:
[1] Much of Bigelow's collection of Asian art was formed during his residence in Japan between 1882 and 1889, although he also made acquisitions in Europe and the United States. Bigelow deposited many of these objects at the MFA in 1890 before donating them to the Museum's collection at later dates.
