Embroidered picture; Adam and Eve; horizontal rectangle; white satin ground with closely-spaced embroidered design showing Adam and Eve standing under apple tree with serpent twined about trunk; man standing left background, woman in right background; child in left foreground; great variety of animals including stag, lion, dogs and birds, cow; sun upper left, crescent moon and stars upper right; background satin covered throughout with minute blue stars and metal dots; worked with polychrome silks, gold and silver metal thread, gold and silver bouillion thread, colored-and-metal bouillion thread, metal sequins, in satin, knot, stem, star and couching stitches; in gilded frame.
