Description(Paris: C. de Lasteyrie [1818]) Folio; 20 leaves; contemporary blind- and gilt-stamped brown morocco (dark red cloth box)--[STORED with 40.25]

An album of twenty lithographs with a title page, "Album lithographique," by Vauzelle featuring a gothic architectural frame [this sheet only has been trimmed and laid into a folio to match the rest of the album]. Most of the lithographs carry de Lasteyrie's imprint; eleven are dated 1817. The two subjects by Lecomte are taken from his lithographs for La Fontaine (MFA copy: 57.220). This set is bound uniformly with another dated [1819] with a title page, also by Vauzelle, with a Delpech imprint [40.25]).The plates are as follows:
