Obverse: Encased in glass, bust of Alexander looking to proper left; inscribed at edge “ALEXANDRE 1ER EMPEREUR DE TOUTES LES RUSSIES.” and under bust “NÉ LE 25 DECEMBRE/1777.”.

Reverse: Inscribed “MÉDAILLIER/GENÉRAL/DES HOMMES ILLUSTRES/CÉLÈBRES OU FAMEUX/ANCIENS ET MODERNES/COMMENCÉ EN 1801/PAR P.G. LIENARD/A PARIS.”.
