Handmade vase of buff clay with darker grits. Globular body with narrow high neck out-turned at top; two handles on shoulder. Four stripes of matt paint on top of shoulder close to neck, and four more under handles. Large sections restored.

By date unknown: Lincoln MacVeagh Collection (said to have been found in the dromos of the tomb of Clytemnestra at Mycenae and acquired by the donor while he was ambassador to Greece); gift of Lincoln MacVeagh to MFA, February 11, 1960
