This amulet is made of dull Indian red glass. It has incised details. The back is slightly chipped, otherwise it is in good condition. The amulet represents the djed-pillar. The pillar, which symbolized the spinal column of the funerary god Osiris, was the hieroglyphic symbol for stability.
