DescriptionThis amulet is made of faience with a blue glaze. The ends of the lowest cross piece is broken off and missing. The amulet represents the djed-pillar. The pillar, which symbolized the spinal column of the funerary god Osiris, was the hieroglyphic symbol for stability.
