This amulet is one of many found on the mummy of princess Mernua. Made of sheet eletrum, it representa a walking ram with long, twisting horns. The details aer incised, and there is a suspension hook on the back. One horn is now missing.

Provenance

From Beg. S. 85, Princess Mernua [Excav. date] March, 1923. Excavated by the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA by the government of Sudan.
