DescriptionThis amulet of a seated, mummiform, falcon-headed god may represent one of a number of falcon-headed deities, most likely Horus or Sokar. Amulets like this were believed to offer protection in the afterlife. The amulet has a loop at the back for suspension. It is made of pale blue-green faience.
