DescriptionAmulets of the fertility god Min were probably intended to impart his virility and procreative powers to the wearer or to bring about rebirth in the afterlife. Min is portrayed as an ithyphallic mummy wearing a tall feathered crown. He supports a flail with his upraised right arm. This example is made of blue-green faience with yellow lines and spots.
