DescriptionThis amulet is made of faience with a faded blue glaze. It represents Pataikos, with a bird on his head, Cynocephali on his shoulders, and crocodiles under his feet.
ProvenanceFrom Meroe: W 846 [Excav. date] March, 1923. Excavated by the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA by the government of Sudan.
