This amulet is made of faience with a faded blue glaze. The amulet represents Pataikos, with a scarab on head, Cynocephali on his shoulders and crocodiles under his feet. At the back, there are wings and inscribed back support.

Provenance

From Meroe: W 846 [Excav. date] March, 1923. Excavated by the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA by the government of Sudan.
