The object was inspired by the works of Kandinsky. Anja (Anna) Tchimikian was Kandinsky’s first wife. This purse made from smooth, highly polished molded resin consisting of multi-colored swirling patterns, has a looped handle of eight strands of plastic covered wires in different colors. Designed in a clam shape, the bag is hinged by two gold-colored metal pieces on the bottom and closed with two wedge-shaped pieces of colored resin on the top. The heavy walls of the interior have an unpolished mat surface.
