This is a fragment of the arm and part of the chest (?) from statue. The stone is dark gray granite with many evenly distributed small pink feldspar inclusions and mica inclusions. GD6.

Provenance

From Nubia (Sudan), Kerma, K III street 5(3). 1913: Excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA by the government of Sudan.
