Seating and beds

Cartouche shaped back, a chassis construction, frame carved with scrolled foliage, fleur-de-lis center top rail, ribbon bound palm fronds bottom of back rail. Scrolled arms with upholstered rests and florettes each side front and back supports. Palm fronds, foliage running up just under arm. Over bowed front seat rail with foliate carving, ground pattern and palmette in center over carved foliate cabriole legs ending in scrolls on gadrooned pads. Side rails, back legs similar in form to front rail and legs. Feet on steel casters covered with leather. Back rail with foliage and acanthus motif incised into gesso. Gilt limewood and white oak, leather covered steel wheels.
