Fine-grained; black; roughly chipped; good condition. Projecting wide tang, bifacial retouch. “X (…) I32” in pencil. Note: Tag on artifact labeled “Mesaid”, but no known provenance there is labeled I32. Possibly from Menkaura Valley Temple which has an I32 provenance.

From Mesaid. Excavated by the Harvard University–Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA by the government of Egypt.
I question this attribution. Markings by the excavator on the object do not match Mesaid's system. It is marked in pencil:
