DescriptionCircular medal of Averado III di Chiarissimo, called Bicci, with a molded rim that projects on both sides. Possibly a later impression from original mold.
Obverse: Profile bust of Averado III looking to the proper left, with close beard and doctorie head-dress; drapery bound around the head and falling long over the shoulder; inscribed at edge "AVERARDUS·MEDIC·COGNOM·BICCIUS·".
Reverse: A thin dog with its fore paw on a jar, facing to the proper left; inscribed above "FIDE·CONSTANTI·".
