DescriptionCoffin in the shape of a squatting baboon with its paws on its knees. Portions of linen and painted gesso remain. The head was painted blue, the face gilded and the fur was green with black details. A red and gold broad collar originally decorated the breast. A rectangular slot was carved into the back to allow for the insertion of a mummy.
