Drawstring bag with design of lotus-like karakusa pattern in gilt paper strip discontinuous supplementary patterning wefts on a deep blue twill-weave silk ground. There is a green and gold iridescent plain-weave silk lining and a purple braided cord. This bag was possibly used for a lacquer-ware container.
