DescriptionWarp of jute (?), weft of jute (?), three rows between each row of knots; pile, wool, and cotton. Knots Persian, (Sehna) five to a centimeter horizontally and vertically. One edge overcast. Colors dark red, deep violet or plum, two shades of dark blue, yellow and deep pink. The cotton used in the pile is deep pink, and forms the ground of the medallions.
