Drawstring bag (shifuku) for tea container (chaire) with overall design of scrolling peonies on a diamond latticework in gilt paper strip supplementary weft patterning on a reddish-orange silk ground (possibly 15th or 16th century, Ming dynasty). There is a blue plain-weave silk lining and a light brown braided silk cord.
