This bag-shaped redware jar has a rounded base, a very gradual neck, and an outwardly pulled straight rim. It exhibits possibly traces of a red wash.
From Kerma, Cemetery S, grave 1626. 1914: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of the Sudan.
