DescriptionScissors or monocle case, two-sided, flat balloon-shape of strung glass beads (called sablé) held together with looping stitches. Pink silk lining. White ground with design identifying balloon with ascension of 21 November 1783 (Paris). Good condition, some paint on flowers at bottom.
