DescriptionRed damask on which is applied a shield bearing in the upper half a maltese cross, and in the lower half vertical bars. Surmounting this is a crown, and around it are leaves. The embroidery, which is couched with yellow silk, and gold and silver thread, was originally worked upon a deep violet velvet. The banner which ends in two point, finished with tassels is edged with yellow gimp, and lined with white silk.
