Chinese for export to the English market. Elliptical, fluted almost vertical sides molded at top and bottm. Flat unglazed bottom rests on three cone-shaped feet. Rope-molded handles at ends. Arms and crest with supporters, elaborate scroll mantling, and the motto, “Maintien le Droit” on scroll. Set with ewer 51.823.
