DescriptionThis object consists of 18 large blue faience ball beads, 1 large blue faience ball bead broken in 3 pieces with a crumb, 1 small faience barrel bead, and one carnelian ring bead and one carnelian ball bead. Segments of modern string accompany the beads, although the beads are currently loose.
ProvenanceFrom Egypt, Sheikh Farag SF 95. 1913: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
