DescriptionUnevenly shaped beaker with concave sides, plain rim, and base rounded to a point. Coarse Nile silt clay, interior somewhat smoothed. Rough interior coiling. Vessel shape flattened somewhat before firing. Possibly bread mold.
ProvenanceFrom Elkab. 1897, excavated by J. E. Quibell for the Egyptian Research Account , assigned to the Egyptian Research Account in the division of finds by the government of Egypt; given to the MFA by the ERA in response for contributions.
