Bed cover (palampore) with design of tree-of-life at center with black and mauve trunk and branches and red flowers, berries, and birds; wide border with floral swags, sprigs, bows, and bouchets in same colors; single row of tilted lobes or waves at outer border with abstract leaves or berries in irregular intervals at crests; faded yellow-gold vermicular ground evident in some parts of border; large piece cut out along lower left.
